• Shipping and Warehouse Material Handler

  ICON is a growing company with a strong, vibrant future. We are currently recruiting for a Shipping and Warehouse Material Handler. The right candidate will be motivated, naturally pleasant and friendly, with a commitment to "family" values and collaboration. This is a team environment with a collective focus on serving our customers and supporting each other to that end.

  The primary responsibility of the Shipping and Warehouse Material Handler is to pick / pack sales orders, and prepare them for shipment in an accurate, timely manner. Tasks may also include material handling, stock put away, quality control, loading transport vehicles, local deliveries, documentation and maintaining a pristine work environment.

  Required qualifications, previous training and skills include, but not limited to:

  • General warehousing / logistics knowledge.
  • Physically suited, capable of standing for long periods and lifting heavy / large objects.
  • Familiarity with forklift / order picker and pallet jack operation.
  • Comfortable with heights.
  • Keen attention for detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Thorough understanding of applicable safety protocols.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • Valid drivers license.

  Knowledge and experience with the following are considered an asset:

  • In-person customer service.
  • General receiving practices.
  • Knowledge of standard office software.
  • Familiarity with recreational vehicles.

  This is a full-time permanent position. Applicants must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada. Normal work hours are onday – Thursday 7am – 4:30pm, and Fridays 7am – 11am.
